      According to the World Travel Agency, the government of Kenya has invested a lot in it’s tourism sector.

      The following structures were identified as outstanding in Kenya;

      • The tantalising cocktail of epic savannah landscape,
      • The immense herds of wildlife and palm-fringed beaches,
      • Maasai Mara and Sweet water game reserves,
      • Savannah and Shimba hills National Reserves,
      • Tsavo National Park.

      Besides emerging as the leading tourist destination in Africa, the Kenyan tourist sector was also named as the most hospitable in the continent thanks to the unique comfort of the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club.

      The city of Nairobi was named as Africa’s leading business travel destination while the Kenyatta International Convention Center is the best for Conferences and Meetings.

      In the aviation sector, Kenya Airways won both Africa’s leading airline Business class and Economy class awards.

      It should be noted that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the government of Kenya continued to invest in the tourism sector which already had great potentials.

      The votes were cast by travel industry professionals and the public.

      The World Travel Agency, WTA was established in 1993 to identify, reward and celebrate excellence in the tourism industry across the world.
